Material library for product designers

This collection contains a wide variety of commonly used materials in the design field. It's the perfect base for your product design material library! All materials are easy to tweak to control the final appearance. For example for most plastics, simply change the diffuse color to your needs, or change the metal look by altering diffuse and reflection color etc... Here's a tutorial on basic Vray material creation.

You get 56 different materials, all in one big 3Ds Max file so you can access them quickly. Note that some materials also rely on mapping modifiers, so make sure you check out the object the material is applied to. Mapping types however depend on the shape of your own models, so that might need some tweaking on your side. Whenever possible, procedural maps are used to avoid these mapping issues.
