The Aversis Vray tutorials provide in depth information about various topics, like interior rendering, exterior rendering, using HDRI, Vray materials, understanding the irradiance map parameters etc...
Vray is one of the best renderers you will find for creating extremely photorealistic 3D images. It's a render plugin originally for 3D Studio Max, but currently also available for Maya and Rhinoceros 3D.

Rhinoceros 3D is a very intuitive and easy to use 3D modeling
tool. You can quickly create all kinds of shapes
with a lot of freedom in the modeling process, but
you can also model with extreme precision. This
makes it a perfect tool for designers to quickly
convert their sketches into 3D models, which can
then be exported to all kinds of formats like iges,
step, 3ds and many more. Although not the most powerful
modeler, it's a very good tool at a competitive
price!

Photoshop is one of the most widely used image editing programs
around. When working with 3D images, there are a
lot of things you can improve by using Photoshop.
It is usually much easier to adjust the rendering
a bit in Photoshop, than to render it all over again.
Things like color corrections, levels adjustments,
sharpening etc are a few of the many things you
can use photoshop for. |

About Aversis Tutorials |
When learning new software packages like 3D Studio Max, Vray, Photoshop and others, tutorials are an essential part in the process. After you learn the basics, they can help you with specific problems or they can give some useful tips which you wouldn’t have thought of yourself. I created some tutorials for 3 software packages: 3D Studio Max together with Vray, Rhinoceros 3D and Photoshop. Together these 3 are an incredible combination!
Please don't translate or copy these tutorials elsewhere. I don't like the tutorials to float around in 10 different versions and places on the net. Feel free to link to this page of course! (see also Terms of Use) |
