Photoshop is one of the most widely used image editing programs around. When working with 3D images, there are a lot of things you can improve by using Photoshop. It is usually much easier to adjust the rendering a bit in Photoshop, than to render it all over again. Things like color corrections, levels adjustments, sharpening etc are a few of the many things you can use photoshop for.
